The community springboard will arise from the needs and visions of community groups in the Leven Catchment. We know a lot of good work is already happening and hope the Leven Catchment Collective can sustain and strengthen it.

The Community Springboard will offer tailored support based on the needs and visions of local community groups. Below are examples of the kinds of benefits it might offer:

Skills & Training

  • Accredited training (e.g. strimmer certification)
  • Facilitation and leadership development courses
  • Peer learning and knowledge exchange events

Capacity-Building

  • 1:1 office hour support
  • Access to tools such as email & survey platforms
  • Support with stakeholder engagement and facilitation
  • Guidance on identifying and securing funding

Project Development Support

  • Seed funding to get new ideas off the ground
  • Support with project planning, design, and structure
  • Ecological advice
  • Help with preparing and submitting funding applications
