Seeds of the Future: Learning to Grow Native Trees

On 5th October, we joined Elana Bader from Darroch Nurseries for a hands-on walk through Formonthills Woodland. Participants learned to identify common species, and explored the basics of growing seedlings from seed.

The session gave everyone the confidence to responsibly collect seeds and try growing trees themselves – whether on their farm or in their community. A big thank you to everyone who came along for sharing their enthusiasm and love of the outdoors!
